Bird of the day - The Fred Perry web model!

Who is she? I dunno. Where she from? Don't care. What other work has she done? Beats me.

All I know is that she is very cute, and I like her hair.

So thats enough qualifications to be my beloved B.O.T.D.

And here I am doing a little Fred Perry modeling of my own. But I much rather be hiding behind the tulips.

Happiness is a Wolford Bodysuit and a warm Maserati Biturbo.

Bodysuits, one-pieces, leotards-whatever you call them, I have had my share of experience with them. Whether it was trying to copy the Beverly Hills 90210 look in elementary school by wearing floral bodysuits with the snaps on the bottom (genius idea!), 5 years of classical ballet training where a short sleeved, scooped back black leotard was our uniform, or my good ole' days working at the American Apparel showroom where bodysuits came back into fashion but in a sexy, raunchy porn kind of way.

Although bodysuits have come and gone several times from current fashion trends and from my wardrobe, I have never seen a collection of bodysuits so posh as Wolford's collection. If their line of one-pieces were a car, they would be a sleek black 1987 Maserati Biturbo. Both have a little 1980s Wall Street feel to it, you want to be in one (both the bodysuit and Maserati) while listening to The Human League on full blast, both have had a bunch of super models in them, you have to be either super good-looking or very rich to afford one (the Wolford one pieces start at $395) and i'm sure both the Maserati and Wolford bodysuits will get you plenty of back seat action! Oooooooooooh yea!

1987 Maserati Biturbo

I want to make love to these bodysuits and the Biturbo.

Eenamaria Handbags! Oh joy!

Lately, I have been missing my Eenamaria Mondrian book bag. Oh you precious little thing you! It was given to me as a gift about 2 years ago when I first came across Eenamaria's exceptionally playful, vibrantly Mod, and extremely chic purse collection.

I wore that Mondrian bookbag out! I loved it because it held all my work essentials, was stylish and went with various outfits. I often use 1 purse and wear the hell out of it, then put it away for months upon months until I miss it again and re-introduce it into my daily use. Right now I have been on a roll with my Dooney & Bourke Doctor Satchel. (Which has truly been my best buy of 2010.)

Well I am beginning to miss my Eenamaria bag now. At the moment, I believe the purse is in a attic in Glassel Park. We won't go into details why its there but at least I know she's safe.

If you haven't heard of Eenamaria and you love purses and all things mod like I do, please check them out at www.eenamaria.com. And even if you don't like purses and all things mod ( booo!) still check out the website because the styling, photos and models are very pretty pretty!

Mondrian bookbag! You will be back with mommy someday...

Merry Christmas to meeeeeeee!

Oh 2010, you came and you gave without takin' but I sent you away, oh 2010! (in the style of "Mandy")

So Christmas is here once again. That's cool. It just comes by quicker and quicker every year. When I'm in charge, Christmas will be once every other year. It'll give people time to miss it  and appreciate it more and I will also ban Christmas from starting the day after Halloween like I feel it does nowadays. As soon as you get over your Halloween hangover, Christmas is down your throat with annoying commercials and decorations everywhere. Ba Humbug is right!

Since Christmas is now finally right around the corner, I have taken upon myself to create a Christmas list in case anyone was wondering what I want to see under my tree this year. And yes, I have been a VERY good girl this year!

So here is my Christmas wishlist, In no particular order:
Orla Kiely Beauty Case in Tripp Print. It matches the new Orla Kiely luggage I just purchased.

I think I just died and went to Mustard heaven!

Oh mustard! How I adore thee!

ASOS Peter Pan collared 60's shift dress. It looks like a dress Charlie Brown's girlfriend would wear, (if he had one). I love the contrasting black collar on this dress. If you haven't noticed by now, I have a thing for Peter Pan collars. Some would say an unhealthy obsession. You decide.

I also adore the outfit below! It's one of the best put together outfits i've found on a street style blog. Actually something I would wear. Nicely done lady! Very sharp and totally elegant!

Patent leather mustard handbag. Very feminine and retro looking.  This purse would compliment a navy, black, cream or brown outfit very well. It would add just the perfect "pop" of color. This purse is very versatile!  www.asos.com

I have also fallen in love with Carolina Amato Leather gloves in mustard. They are extremely stylist and I love how they fit perfectly stopping right at your wrist. Love that glove length! www.joanshepp.com

YSL eyeshadow set in # 7 is the perfect eyeshadow pallet to tie your new mustard pieces seaming-less with the rest of your winter wardrobe. www.barneys.com

I love the color mustard. It's very underrated. Mustard bright, elengant, fun and classic. It's defiantly one of my favorite colors to wear!

Birds of the day - The girls of Beatlemania!

In a post fitting to the 30th anniversary of John Lennon's death, I hereby declare those lovely, hysterically-insane, tragically obsessed, Beatle-loving teenage girls, for whom the term "Beatlemania" was penned for, as my Birds Of The Day! Here here!

So here's to you you manic little girls! Your dedication and the intensity of your undying love for The Beatles, although a bit scary and abnormal at times, is beyond legendary and you set the bar high for sheer insanity and absolute delirium. You taught society not to underestimated the power of hormone-crazed, mop-top-loving teenage girls in numbers.  No one has been able to touch the intensity of your frenzy since. Sure , nowadays there is Biebermania, and I remember Spice Girl Mania, but those fanatics couldn't holding smelling salts to the troves of your fainting girls.

This post is dedicated to you ladies! For all you have done for pop-culture, music history, and for loving a fab four piece band from Liverpool with every ounce of sanity (or lack of it) you had! <3

You birds were too cool. xo
