Model Brianna Mellon is tapping into her inner mod goddess for Velvet Magazine's A La Mod, photo shoot. Styled by Oksana Anel and photographed by Timothy Lowery, Brianna dons pieces by Marc Jacobs, Helmut Lang, Giorgio Armani, Miu Miu, Chloe and other contemporary designers. But who I really must applaud is makeup artist Sarah Baird for her beautiful interpretation of mod hair and make up- bravo team!

Dsquared2 Pre-Fall 2014

While we still have the holiday season on our minds, designers have Fall 2014 on their brains! Dsqaured2 designers Dean and Dan Caten were inspired by swinging London for their pre-fall 2014 collection. Designing the lineup for a contemporary Twiggy, Dsquared2 cut dangerously short micro mini dresses and skirts, cozy mod shaped outwear and styled the collection perfectly with opaque tights and an equestrian hat.  Definitely a different direction than the duos usual ultra sexy pieces but very much Ahoy hoy approved!

Nicolas Jebran Haute Couture 2012

Yes, I am about a year late on this magnificent collection but it is so incredibly lavish, and so delightfully ornate that I just had to post the beautiful photos of Nicolas Jebran's 2012 Haute Couture collection.

I especially feel like this time of year gives these fantasy laden photos a even more surreal and enchanting aspect to them. The background for these photos is a wintery and whimsical setting where these lovely bobbed haired ladies show the decadence of each piece of clothing the Lebanese designer created.
