What is black, white, pink and sparkles all over? This groovy mod-tastic Hello Kitty Pink Head collection by Tarina Tarantino!

Although this collection has been out for a while already, it just dawned on me, "why don't I own every single piece in this collection?!" I mean it's Hello Kitty (who still to this day I adore), its Black/White and pink (matches my blog and almost every piece in my wardrobe) and its the funnest Mod inspired line I ever did see!

In this collection by world renowned jewelry and accessory designer, Tarina Tarantino, Hello Kitty is looking smashingly fab dressed in Mondrian fashion, sporting a pink bob or a long hair ala-Valley of The Dolls, roaming around in her Vespa scooter or lounging in a retro bubble chair.

The only thing I don't like about this collection is having to chose which piece I should buy first! Will it be the Pink Head Mod Button Earrings or the Pink Head Crystal Mod Ring? Decisions, decisions. One thing is for sure- I cannot wait to pair my purchase with a black minidress, black/white vertical stripes tights, my patent leather Ferragamos heels, and head down to the next Black Eyed Soul club with Hello Kitty!

Do you think living in Detroit had influenced her on often photographing her subjects with cars? I adore how her deathly subjects coordinate perfect with the vintage automobiles.

If you aren't familiar with this extraordinary talented woman, Nicola Kuperus, then please take this time to be acquainted with her magnificent photography & musical work.

As one half of the husband/wife Detroit duo ADULT., Nicole and her husband Adam Lee Miller, have been creating dark, synth filled, electronica music since 1998 with the release of their first EP Modern Romantics . ADULT. has released 4 albums between 1998-2007 and Kuperus & Miller started the Detroit record label known as Ersatz Audio. (RIP Ersatz Audio)

What you may not have already know is that Nicola is the incredible photographer responsible for all of ADULT. 's album work. She has a way of bringing elegant & sinister scenes to life (or death should I say because of the subjects in her photographs). I have always been a huge fan of Nicola's music and her artwork is no exception!

This last picture and name of album, Why Bother?, pretty much sums up how I usually feel.

Love, love, love this photo shoot with Lindsey Wixson for UK Vogue! The photos are bright, airy and dreamlike! Not only have I always been a fan of black & white clothing combinations, but I love pink, black & white as a trio.  And the stripe theme is very chic and fun! This pictorial embodies Spring, surrealism, & sensuality.

And one more thing! I have been looking for vertical black & white stripe stockings forever! Now that  I see them styled so perfectly I want them even more! Anyone know where I can find these little gems?

Yes I understand that I am a bit late with this beautiful Campaign, (I always look forward to Miu Miu's ads) but it was a favorite of mine last Spring and I have been seeing more and more of model Lindsey Wixson's work AND I LOVE IT! (More to come about Lindsey soon)
