As recently as yesterday I could have easily told you I would never wear any sort of leather bottoms. Leather pants? Ummm no. Leather shorts? uh-uh. But then this Vena Cava leather miniskirt came into my life and I want to wear leather more than ever!

The cut is ultra-flattering and at a perfect length where it looks more Jane Birkin and less Lita Ford.

But at a cool $649.00, I will have to make do with a pleather mini this season instead :/

Kate Spade leg wear collection

I seriously feel like tights are one of the best things that has ever happen to women's fashion! If anyone knows me they would know my obsession with tights. I have a massive collection at home that takes up more space in my closet than should, and I will probably wear knee high socks till someone has to pull an intervention on me and let me know that I shouldn't be wearing them past 40 cause I'm getting all Baby Jane status on them.

I also have mentioned before on this blog my request of being buried in white tights when I finally die. American Apparel Opaque white tights in XS/S to be exact.

Well my latest obsession is Kate Spade's leg wear collection. My favorite pieces have to be the textured mustard tights and the gold tinted knit knee socks.

Rachel Antonoff's Bass Shoe Collaboration, starring Tennessee Thomas

Clothing designer Rachel Antonoff's has teamed up with classic footwear company Bass Shoes, to create the cutest, girlyist, most whimsical collection of shoes since the invention of the Mary Jane!

The collection consist of candy colored leather weejuns with heart cut-outs,  flower printed canvas shoes, and patent leather saddle shoes! Yes please! One of each in 7 1/2!

The look book is as adorable as the shoes themselves! They are modeled by none other Tennessee Thomas from LA's girl group, The Like. Last April, I assisted with styling for The Like's music video, "He's not a boy" Styling the video was loads of fun since it was very Mod theme and there were a lot of boys and girls to style. All the members of the band were complete and utter snobs to me and the other stylist, EXCEPT for Miss Thomas. She was super warm and friendly, and was completely easy to work with. No wonder she dated super dreamboat Mark Ronson (swoon!)

Bird of the day - boy edition!

This is a total emergency! Someone call a doctor! Rush me to the hospital! Get me some help! I think I am seriously ill!

I must be off my rocker or terribly ill because until today, I never realized what a complete, utter babe Mark Ronson is! Have I been blind this whole time?


Mark Ronson who? Well he is the super - producer behind artist like Amy Winehouse, Lilly Allen, Christina Aguilera, Robbie Williams and countless others. Mark is also co-founder of Allido Records and a multi-Grammy award winner. In 2009 he was also voted GQ magazine's "most stylish man in the UK" and Mark is part of the Ronson tribe which includes, twin sister Charlotte (a fashion designer) and Samantha (DJ and Lindsay Lohan's ex-girlfriend)

Apparently, I am the last to discover Mark's sex appeal because he has definitely had his share of beauties. He has been linked to Quincy Jones daughter, Rashida Jones, Gavin Rossdale's daughter, Daisy Lowe, and Tennessee Thomas, drummer from The Like.

So here's to you Mr. Ronson! Keep on doing what you're doing. <3

Good job Amy! Although I am not a fan of the color pink, the powdery pink shade she chose for her pieces is very cute and vintage looking. Who knows, you may see me in a pink Fred Perry polo soon!
