Dear Creatures A/W 2012

The Dear Creatures Fall 2012 line might be it's most playful collection yet. Inspiration for the pieces came from designers Rob & Bianca's playfully feline muses Little Dude and Mouse, 2 cats that the couple have rescued and adopted.

I must admit the Dear Creatures Fall collection is always my favorite season. Dear Creatures has a knack on creating the most perfect Fall coats, sweaters and jackets ever. This Fall season is no different with adorable outwear such as the double breasted Chelsea Coat,  the nautical Harbor Sweater and vintage chic Stella Cardigan. But what I feel is always the true treat for Dear Creatures fans are the company's dresses. Dear Creatures has created some elegant color blocking in the Penny and Gillian dresses, perfect for Holiday parties this year, along with some sharp causal dresses like the Camille and Moby dresses. What Dear Creatures fans can truly get excited about this season is that they have reissued one of their most beloved dresses, the Madeline Dress from A/W 2008. If you didn't have the chance to purchase this iconic dress before I highly recommend purchasing it now. The Madeline dress is up there in my book of definitive dresses.

My talented friends at Dear Creatures, Bianca & Rob,  have done it again and have designed the quintessential, charming, Spring collection! This seasons collection features Dear Creature staples such as Sailor Inspired shift dresses and clever prints but also incorporates new pieces that will sure become instant classics like Jersey separates, elegant strapless dresses and clean cut outs.

The concept of the look book was inspired the ideal Southern California housewife and a house sitter who dreams of becoming "Mrs. Jones". Even grown up girls like to daydream and play dress up :)

I cannot wait to own some pieces from this very sophisticated Dear Creatures collection!

Dear Creatures ENK Las Vegas 2011

Whew! What a week Dear Creatures has had! We had a great trade show in Las Vegas and  it was very fun seeing buyers, our sales reps from across the country, seeing other brands new collections and working with new accounts!

Even though we had a great time in Vegas, I am glad to be home :)

So that is why there hasn't been much posting going on lately. But expect new posts very soon :)

Dear Creatures Spring 2011!

It is busy, busy, busy here at the Dear Creatures Headquaters! We are debuting our Fall 2011 collection at the ENK trade show in Las Vegas next week, and our  Spring 2011 collection starts shipping to stores worldwide this month! February is exciting times for the brand!
